Create a calm, beautiful space that is comfortable to live in and always ready for entertaining. Refresh the body and mind as your home transforms into a harmonious space.

Tip

I know from experience that if I do not put things away where they belong the moment I get home then it’s all over and the chaos begins. So I try to avoid setting things down randomly on my desk in my entryway and instead put things away in their home before doing anything else.

Transform the function of your home with ease. When you have a “home” for everything, the clutter and chaos disappears!

The best advice I have is to create a home for everything. If you cannot find a spot to put it, it probably shouldn’t stay in the house. Look for storage pieces that you can adjust to help keep you organized and that you can rearrange as your needs change.

Achieving healthy sleep goes far beyond a comfortable mattress. Here's a few tips I’ve shared over the years on how to get your best night’s sleep.

Tips for a Healthier Sleep

Make sleep a scheduled part of your daily routine. Be consistent with when you go to bed and when you wake.

Get into a relaxing bedtime routine. Do something to relax yourself before heading to bed. Take a hot bath, read a book or listen to some soothing music.

Turn your bedroom into a relaxing retreat. Make sure where you sleep is a calm, soothing place.

Sleep on a comfortable mattress and pillow and surround yourself with breathable covers.

Exercising helps the body to fully relax and prepare for rest. It is best to exercise earlier in the day than right before going to bed.

You can’t catch up on sleep. Try to schedule 8 hours of sleep each night because our bodies do not really “catch up” on sleep.

Always unwind. About one hour before bed, start preparing yourself mentally and physically for sleep. Set the mood for relaxation before bed. This is not the time to be planning things for tomorrow.
